Not yet James, in due time my friend I will disclose all.  Don't want to jinx this deal.  You know Randall and all that :smile30:

Are you kidding, Randall will never have enough boats.

I got to go back to work, I'm not telling. :smile23:

Alright Jim, well hopefully it'll be cruising next to my Glastron at Jet Fest next year.

I know you wanted to run em at Tawakoni. Did you see the lifter I pulled out of my motor? It was ground down over 1/4" till it had a hole in the bottom of it. I'm glad I didn't try to drive it.

I am glad you didn't do anymore damage then you did.  I was just trying to get the racing (tuning) started.  Seem to have worked.  Glad everybody sandbagged and let me win.

Anyway here is todays progress:  One Bunk finished, the other is cut out and ready to glue on.  Maybe tomorrow.

It's a LOVE/HATE Relationship right now.  A lot of my attitude is because of no water in the lakes, and every time I turn around there is something else breaking.  Wheather I keep her or sell her, I'm trying to do the work the right way.  Talked to Sid yesterday and he is going to check the repair work on the cracked bottom and He will paint blend in the paint. Regardless of where she ends up, she will be a sound ride.

It's been awhile since I posted a progress report on the Liberator, but it's been awhile since I had time to work on Her.  Most of my time has been repairing fences.  The drought has killed our pastures and the horses are starting to push the fence to look for greener pastures.  Anyway, these projects are about to come to a close and I actually got a few days to spend on the Liberator.

With the fatherly advise of Blenderman I have repaired the inside of the tunnel and replaced the bulkhead with thicker material and a vast amount of fiberglass.  This should fix the manufactures flaw on some of the older Liberators.  Sorry no Pic it's dark in there, and I can tell what the are and I took them.

Anyway, the Boat is back on the trailer, and Patch has his Dolly back at the compound. Today I had to make an adjustment on my trailer bunks, they were a little snug against the inside of the tunnels.  I replaced the Lag bolts, and filled in all the old holes that have been drilled in the inside of the bottom for any number of reasons.(mounting seats, battery's, what have you).

I then paid a little attention to Plan B (Glastron).  I finished replacing the carpet on the trailer steps, replaced the valve cover gasket (hopefully that will stop the oil leak) and tried to change the oil.  I picked up the larger Oil filter and it wont fit between the motor and the stringer.  I'll pick up the right one tomorrow.

Putting a Bar Cruiser (Stock Ford, mild cam, 750 Holley and intake) engine in the Liberator.  If I'm going to throw money at a go fast project, I need the hull to weigh less than 1000 pounds.  The Liberator is not that heavy, but I would guess close to 900.
