Thanks for the encouraging words, this week at work I will be ordering parts, to finish the motor installation.  I feel with one good day, of things going my way, I could have the boat on the water the following day!

Here are some pictures of the other project (Plan B).  This is the last trailer fender guard, which completes the replacement of all the carpeted wood on the trailer.

Hooked up the fuel system this afternoon, new fuel lines and new fuel pump.

Picked up the scoop I bought from Ed at Patches Rock Shop, and got it mounted.  I was going to paint it Yellow, but Wife says it matches the Purple on the deck and the gauge benzels so I'm leaving it Purple.

Mounted the wire junction box and connected the wires from the gauges and the switches from the front of the boat, now I have to figure out what connects to each wire.

Tomorrow the Bemini top gets installed on the Glastron and we are headed to the lake.

No work  on the Liberator until Thursday, but with some luck, I could be burning fuel Friday.

Now I need help hooking the wires up.  On the dash I have three switches, one is the bilge pumps,(no Problem), another supplys fire to the coil, and the third is the fuel pump. (i think I can figure this one out).  It's the switch that supplies power to the coil, how do I hook that wire up.  I have a button that turns over the starter, where does that wire connect.

If this will help, I push the button and the motor starts to turn over, then I hit the switch to start the motor.

Any help and a drawing would be greatly appreciated.

That should be a really simpl setup the way you describe it . You need power going into each switch , and then the coil switch will feed the coil , or switch the relay feeding the coil . The pushbutton will send power to the starter solenoid .

here is another diagram I drew up to help confuse you some more.

Basically as said the Push button goes to the battery on one side and the starter solenoid on the other.

The coil I would include a relay in there so one side of the coil switch goes to the battery (can be run of the battery side of the starter switch) the other side goes to the relay with the opposite side of the relay going to the battery ground.  Then on the relay the input goes to the battery power or MSD positive coil output or Resistor if you have them and the other side goes to the coil positive with the coil negative going to the distributor points or msd coil negative wire.

If you have a MSD you can also just put the relay on the MSD Power to keep it from powering up instead of the coil.

If you get stuck pm me your number and I can give you a call.

Thanks for your help.  Even though the motor is a Ford, we used a starter that does not have the remote solenoid, I have wired the starter up and the motor will turn over.  All the wires are accounted for except for three wires that come out of the MSD Box, and I'm pretty sure they will go to the coil and a ground.. One is white, one is red and one is black.  The MSD install site will tell me more.  If I run into problems you will be the second to know.

Thanks for your help.  Wiring is a real problem for me.
