I am so STOKED, it has been around 15yrs of working on eveybody elses stuff, and getting side tracked on everything else, even a flatty  A feel of accoplishment , great feeling, can not wait till I get to put my foot in it, and feel the HP of the blower motor and thrill of it in a 2500lb street car.
I just finished this car for a buddy, did the frame, floors, motor and tranny set up . This one finally left my nest to go back to the owner
Daune can relate to working on everybodys stuff. One way of supporting my ADDICTION

I can relate! Man that is a great feeling when they leave, and you have an empty spot! My problem is trying to do lengthy resto work along side day to day work. The day to day is frequent enough that the resto sits on the side lines! Then my projects sit outside! :smile18:

Well, got it done, now I have to color sand it with 1000, then let the pinstriper do his Magic, then color sand and buff. Not bad for a first timer I say.

Skulls and chickens? :smile21: think.gif

LOL, ever since I first met George, his Model A has been in grey primer & just kinda stuck together in the garage. Few of us went to his place for a little shindig few years ago (can't believe its been that long ago) & the keg was flowing freely. So we're standin around lookin at his projects & I believe Aaron(73Hondo) was the one who found the Sharpy. It started out innocently enough, drawing scallops I think. Went down hill from there. Various images & messages scrawled here & there on the Model A about as fast as George could wipe 'em off. :cheesy:

Skulls & chickens were among the tits, dicks, asses, goats, dinosaurs & about anything else you could possibly imagine being drawn on there when he wasn't looking, lol....

PRO53....I have to let you in on how you've influenced my 9 y/o son. We were trying to decide how to paint his Pinewood derby car for the upcoming Boy Scouts Pinewood derby race at the end of the month and I showed him your project car. He said "Dad!! That's exactly how I want my car to look!!". So now I'm in the process of spray painting the car white and will tape off the areas for the blue flames tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks!! Your creativity has far reaching influences.

Just thought you'd like to know.  :smile30:
