I think I'm going to try and make the first one in may since it's in Waco. I know it probably depends on the boat count but what is the normal payout in RR for winning?

The only way to make a million dollars racing boats, is to start with 2 million.  The winnings will not cover your expenses!  This statement is based on 4 years of actively racing in SDBA and IHBA events.  JUst go have fun!

Oh I know that. Iv bracket raced cars for years. I was just wondering if you do happen to win could you atleast break even? When I was racing my car the entry fee was $55 and as long as there was 30 cars payout was $1,000 to winner. We had 30+ cars almost every fridaynight.

Well I'm not showing up for second place so you better be on your game! Lol! Man I have only bracket raced cars and helped tune and determine what the dial-in should be on my cuisine's boat he has ran in RR a few times. I know it will take me a few passes to get the starting line down. Ill do good get passed first round the first time out.

Facebook is real time. I get notifications from Green country dragboats with updates on races and information. Theres also a lot of crap on there to sort out.

Tommy Thompson is a driving force in this sport, and its hard for me to believe that HIS race in his backyard wouldnt happen. Theres alot of water up here in NE Okla. hopefully they fill the slot with a race up here.

That cancellation cut my SDBA schedule in half..LOL

Honestly it does make me have to re-evealute some stuff before I move forward with the "goin racin" plan. All the extra effort and cash for 1 race? maybe if SITC and Ft. Cobb happen it would be worth it.

I wished they could get Purcell figured out.
