i know it is around that much for E/T classes but i don't think it is that high for RR :smile29:

$100 one time race club fee-- $200 if you run more than 1 race
$200 for RR
$100 if you want to run the test and tune. (where available)

Come to OKC Bobby. I'm gonna be there if I can get my pile back together

I plan on hitting all of them if everything works out

They cancelled the Choteau race, that was the other one I was going to do.

I need to see how this new bottom is going to work out, Ft Cobb and SITC are on my list too.

Hammerdown-tell me more about Ft cobb

Its an outlaw race they have in the fall on FT.Cobb lake. They cancelled it last year b/c the dought had the lake way down. I've never done it, but they bracket you up by hull/motor combo. like tunnel or v-bottom, tunnel ram or single, stock heads or aluminum heads ....

heres Carnival Ride a couple years ago. Its a rolling start

hammerdown- one of our boats throttle is close enough to bulkhead to put a long carriage bolt in with nuts and washers so as to adjust bolt length for peddle to hit bolt head, my throttle is a custom build with a stop bolt built on, doesnt look like we will run together unless you come to OKC-SDBA hope to see you there

I have mine out and I was looking at it, there is a bar behind my pedal that stops it, so I should be ok there.

As you can see I'm working toward OKC.

Hammerdown-need SFI harmonic balancer or cage as described in rule book, I'll see if I can remember anything else you need before you get there.

Got that covered, one question that I ran into is : do both U-Joints need to be covered on the drive line or just 1?

Hammerdown-all rule book says is shafts longer than 14 inches (2) loops must be used , also says in section  8.15  -. device will deter driveline from exiting boat. I take the 14 inch deal to mean 14 exposed not end to end length. saw Mr. Helm's pump suction peice or what was left of it at Pheonix after shaft let go , I think it sunk

What jet-boat under 22 feet won't throw you out if the motor locks up and you run over 75, unless you have a pop-off?

Wonder if a person paid the SDBA membership to run all year if he or she had to pay an additional membership to run a LUCAS event?
