There is always that option as well. The bow tanks work at any rate. :smile16: I try and keep my chit simple, or it will never get done!

Here is where original tank goes

Thats a bigazz tank, lol... My personal opinion, I'd ditch that one, put the side tanks in it & go from there.

One thing is, looks like it takes up a ton of room. I also wouldn't be too crazy about having it right there so close to the engine. That's just me. I may not be the one to ask though, I don't even like my light switches in the house going different directions if I can help it. :cheesy:

On brent's Taylor SS, the original owners had tried saddle tanks and said their was handling issues at speed with the built in Taylor "hook". We went with an 18 gallon plastic fuel cell under the bow. I can try and get photos?

I figures SS and SJ had same bottom so would be no issues...good info, yeah now is the time to change tank situation any assistance is appreciated

I wondered about Brent's with the bow tank. I thought it was a bow tank all along, didn't know ya'll added it.

It was originally. They tried saddle tanks and I believe it wanted to buck you out at 70? not sure. I forget where the tank came from, but it fits perfectly. the photos suck, the boat is filthy, too..Brent mounted the tank with a stainless strap he got from work...lol, I didn't do that...  :smile15:  :smile28:

I don't know much about the Taylors, so just thinking out loud... I wonder if they put bow tanks in the SS to offset the weight on the rear of the boat, what with the extra fiberglass/wood on the SS vs. the SJ... I'll probably regret posting this, but got the flame suit on standby.

hahaha, haven't watched that in awhile, so many good quotes from that movie... "we're eating ice cream", lol

so with the SJ tanks you will now have, will you still have to rework the back seat or it will be fine?
