Gotta lift the motor to get it painted. A feat easier said than done. At least without a Mercury lifting eye, $55 at Regency Marine down the street, or $35 off of Ebay with a 3 day wait.

3 days later I have my lifting eye.

Carpet arrived also while I was out fixin fridges. Nice color, not too bright orange. I'll post a pic when I get home.

Where did you order the carpet from ? I need to find new carpet for my trailer bunks and fenders .

I used black outdoor carpet from HD on my bunks.  2 years and still looks fine.

Thats my plan B . If I can't find something I like better . I would prefer a blue color that matches the boat , or maybe even a brown that would go with the wood trim .

My Lowe's had blue outdoor carpet.

Yeah , I saw some blue at Home Depot the other day , but it was not very close to the blue color of the boat . What can I say , I'm picky  crazy.gif

It's automotive carpet. Got it from here.  http://store.autocarpets.com/21-90.html

Probably enough to the boat and the bunks on the trailer and have enough for another boat for around $200 shipped.

Cause I'm getting tired of looking at it. I had to look up the thread for the seat dimensions. Probably gonna put saw to wood this weekend.
