Rotella, and VR1 have high zinc in them, that extra sink is for lubricant really good for high lift flat tapett cams, plus I add STP oil treatment (more zinc) for extra protection

Shaffer 50wt, full syn. the pick up tube fell off the oil pump (sand bar bash) and it ran till it locked up the oil pump and twisted the dizzy shaft off and shut down, No damage to ANY parts other than the oil pump! could have replaced the pump and went back to work!

Also, using the same oil, I ran a SB Chevy with NO coolant (water pump went out) for every inch of 4 miles, ON THE FLOOR and It would NOT quit! the engine was so hot it broke the skirts off all the pistons and boiled the gas out of the carb, cranked right up the next day! Unbelievable! That was officially the end of that engine but the oil did it's damn job! I stand by Shaffer oil!
YB 468 was riding with me, ask him!

Re refined 10w 30 purchased at the corner Stop and Rob.  Never change it or the filters, cause the longer you run it, the higher the oil pressure.  It thickens up with age.

You mean it improves with age.  That sounds like me!
