Hell , I just trying to cover all my bases in case I can make it ..Hell Roger I might land at you camp site also , never know ,Cliff might kick me out .. when  he  remembers i run a Chevy in my boat ..

So land at Rocky Park, trailer the boat to welch park, run the boats over there and then head back to Rocky Park to camp out .. Any shade at Welch Park to get out from the sun or do you guys just stay in the water ??

Thanks Cliff , If I make it , I will share a spot with you or if any more are open , I will get a spot for myself .. Hell I snore loud enough to wake up my neighbors ..

Sure hope I can make it , this sounds like fun ..

Now I better see if I can get my turd boat to run ..

if your coming in on Saturday,  i would head straight to welch park,  then back to rock,  unless you get there early and you wanted to square away you camp site,

not much shade at welch,  other than way up from the water,  we bring quick ups and most of stay in the water,  hell we are evey where really,  you can get a idea by checking gallery out of past welchfests  :smile16:

on a side note bring plenty of gas cans, i don't think there is an e85 pump anywhere close

John : I only need enough to get it started on the trailer so everyone can hear it run , It a trailer queeen , so I don't burn much fuel ..

I will bring an extra 10-15 gallon just in case I want to take it for a spin

You're so full of horse manure!!!!!

Some of us have seen you run at Plowmans. We all kid you about the trailer queen crap, but most of us know better.

Richard you are not suppose to say that . Everyone knows that my boat is a trailer queen and it is afraid of the water .. That way I don;t have to put the boat in the water .. How close is the hang  out , Can I just dropped the boat in the water and walk it over to the hang out ??

Don;t know about doing any side by side testing .. I normally just liek to test all by myself .. I would hate for something to go wrong and I take another boat out .. So I normally just run solo runs ..

Does it get rough out in the middle ? How far across the water is it in case some of us dare to try it ..

Just talked to JJ and I think we will convoy down for the day .. He said he went last year and drove back home that night , so i might just follow him ..

try what,  if your talking about from Rocky,  wouldn't do it,  but welch park is in a cove a big cove,  and if the wind is right,  it's nice place to run, and of course,  the boats will tear it  :smile30:

its about two miles across from rocky to welch can get rough though id trailer, most everything smaller than a daycruiser

Ok , That is what I wanted to know .. Sound like JJ will be there and I can catch a ride with him to see the lake .. I think he will be bringing his V-Drive day cruiser . It handles the chop great ..

Yeah the two mile is OK , but if it get rough out there , then it is not very much fun in a flattie ..
