Lol my wife says the same thing, I just love making it my own, and knowing it's done right, if a bought a turn key boat it just wouldn't mean the same to me.

If I didn't completely redo my boat a few years ago, I wouldn't know anything about it now.

There's something to be said when you're sitting on the beach or boat and just thinking to yourself "I built that boat"...... one of the best feelings in the world man.

Thanks fellas we are a long long way from home but I think after floor is sealed back up the worst pard is done!

All the fillets are done on the subfloor tomorrow I will begin tabbing

First layer of tabbing cut and ready ( note to self, fiberglass mat does not work w epoxy resin, no longer getting tabs)

The process is taking longer than originally remember, pic shows first layer down in one box. Hoping to have subfloor done and glassed in this week so I can move on to stringers, deck, and pour foam.

if you want the fiberglass to round over the top easier take a router to the top corners of those stringers and round them over a little.  You just don't want a square edge so a little rounded corner with help it lay down nicely.

Yep already routed stringers before I bedded

I see that on the rear one but the center one was quite squared off still.  Don't know if you plan on wrapping the center stringer and the bulkheads or not but would be a good idea then predrill all the holes for the floor and fill with PL or PB then put in the screws will keep it water free for a long time.

I didn't rout the center i wasn't thinking properly until it was too late, so instead what I did was thicken my resin w fumed Cilicia so the resin wouldn't want to run to the bottom appears to have solved the issue.

Project is starting to take a toll on me, by the time I get the girls to bed, clean kitchen and get to the garage its 10 pm then I work for an hour or two on boat.. Progress is slow my OCD is slowing me down  crazy.gif hope to have subfloor glasses this week..

Two layers back two boxes done thick inning the resin seems to be the trick to get it to stick on the sharpe angles. happy so far no air bubbles seems to be laying down nicely

For something that's not going to be seen at all, that looks great!

Be sure to coat the top of those new stringers with a coat of resin too.
