Pro, he used PL construction adhesive to hold the stringers into place before he fiberglassed them in. I did the same thing.

There's a guy over on YouTube that helped me out a lot...his name is Frisco Jarret. I took his advice on my rebuild.

Fillets have begun peanut butter came out nice...

What are you talking about peanut butter ,  is that some kind of caulk holding the stringers down or a ?

Fillets or peanut butter is a mixture of resin, fumed silica, and chop strand mat the purpose is to fill the gap between the wood and boat to give the fiberglass something to lay down on,if u skipped this step you would have a hell of a time not have air bubbles in this area.. See pics

did you lay it down, then set the stringers on top, or did you put the stringers down on the matt with resin? The peanut butter is just to fill the void, give it a radius?

I layed it in w a tongue depressor in the subfloor and a spoon upside down on the stringers

Cleaned up excess glass, floor time !!
Brush a thin coat of resin over that before putting the floor down and it will seal any holes and seal the floor to the stringers.

I planned on that but epoxy has to be mixed at a minimum of 6 oz so the next time I mix some up I will hit it.

I don't know if this is your plan or not Ryan, however after I cut my floor to fit, I coated the underside and edges of the floor with epoxy. Then, once I layed the floor and filled below deck with foam, I layed a layer of cloth and covered it with epoxy too.

That's the plan to a T but I am going to peanut butter the edges to the boat to fill gaps first, I want to leave ab an 1/8 in gap all the way around.

Looking good man...

About the floor & this may seem like a dumb question, where exactly will your floor panel lay... will it be flush with the outside of the stringers, sitting in those grooves that I assume are the tops of the strakes? Because that should put it nice & solid on top of the sub-floor bracing you put in correct? Your pics sure got me wondering about mine....

Does this help any?
Trace it and cut it, will lay right on top of my center support and cross braces

Yup, that is exactly what I was getting at, thanks. I would go out on a limb & figure most (maybe all?) of the 1/4 stringer boats of that era were done in the same or similar fashion. Not much way around it I wouldn't think. Hmmm. Sure wish I would have gotten pics of mine while the floor was out.
