I am planning to hang the boat with three straps to put the trailer under it . One in the front on the bow eye , and two in the back . :smile30:

I think I'm going to jack up the back, use a ratchet strap under the front below the bow eye and roll the trailer out. Paint it and roll it back under two hours later and set the boat back down. Might be a job for tomorrow if I have no service calls scheduled.

Found some chrome trailer wheels that almost match the chrome stars on my truck too.

We have a few of them actually , I was on the Nook tablet when I posted that . We also have an Asus Transformer . I gotta say , I am kinda undecided which one is better . The Asus has the larger screen , but is a biotch to type on . The Nook is small enough that you can type on it about the same as a touch screen phone . I guess it depends on what you want to do with it , I don't really do any gaming or anything like that so I couldn't tell you if one performs better or not for that stuff . They both go online , and both let me look at THB and Craigslist .

Good info.  The Asus Transformer gets pretty good reviews on C-net.  So does the Galaxy.  Kinda torn between the Galaxy and the iPad.  For what she wants it for either will do just fine.  She has a Galaxy S2 phone so it would be really easy to sync with the Galaxy tab and the interface should be somewhat familiar to her.

IMO, the kindle fire sucks!!!

The Kindle Fire is great for what it is.  An E-reader with extra function.  IMO it is not a tablet.

The Nook is a reader too , but you can get a SD card that makes it boot as a regular android tablet . Not sure if the Kindle is the same or not , but the Nook is alot better when running regular Android OS .

The Fire runs a modified version of android to make it more of an e-reader and less of a tablet.  People who wanted an e-reader first and tablet second, love the Fire.  People who wanted a tablet first and e-reader second, hate the fire.  People who really wanted an iPad but tried to cheap out and bought a Fire really hate the Fire.  LOL.

I went and picked up the stainless bolts to bolt the pump down to the intake, stainless bolts have gone up alot. 5/16" stainless bolts coated a Buck apiece.  Used to be less than half that price.  I also got the gasket material to make the intake gasket for the pump.  Hopefully the pump will be going in tomorrow. I might check intogetting a set of square fuel tanks instead of the round Info tanks that I have, then I will get the tanks mounted and the fuel system in place. I have several pics that I will get posted in the morning.

OK , so I am making a gasket for the pump intake . I have always heard that it's best to use silicone on the intake side of the gasket and install the pump side dry . What is the best silicone to use ? The last one I did I used regular RTV silicone , but is there something that is better ? I didn't keep the other boat long enough to know if there were ever any problems with the RTV silicone being used on the pump intake .

thin layer of anti-seize on all surfaces (intake, both sides of gasket, suction housing)

That was passed on to me from Danna @ Mike's Pump & Speed. Works great & also keeps the gasket in good shape in case you need to reuse it.
