Thats what wife said!

Now if I could just find that little cernamic thang-a-mabob to that drops the voltage so's I don't burn up the module in my distributer, I could get this thing finished.

Anyone know where I can get a single belt pulley for a Ford?

That ceramic thing a ma bob is a resistor and just go to oreillys or autozone and get one for a 68 mustang or cuda or anything it will be the same.  I might have one somewhere in a box but dont think i will find it before heading out to BCR otherwise would bring it with me.

Thanks man!  What about the pulley?  Any leads on where I could pick up a single belt pulley for a Ford.  I think Crusader was looking for one last year.  Any ideas Cliff?

I never did find one......turned out the PO had too small of a belt on there and a 3/8 pulley on the alternator so I got a larger pulley for the alternator and put a 1/2 inch belt on it and called it good.

I might, would have to check over at the white house(parts stash). How fast you need it? I may not be able to get over there before leaving town, but can send it to you if I have one.

Patch doesn't have one... or Duane?

Well if your going to BCR and happen to find it, that would be peachy creamy.  I will be able to run the boat with what I have, but it's a three belt pulley and looks sorta out of place.  You know what I mean.

I have not heard from Patch or Duane.

Patch is out on a day release with his ankle monitor.  think.gif

I gotcha, lol... I'll try & get over there. I know there is a couple of crank pulleys there, but they may be 3 belt jobs. We are coming to BCR so if I do have one, its yours. Patch is probably on the road already, but you may shoot Duane a PM as he is coming to BCR as well.

This is a picture of one of those moments we look forward to, the day we are putting the final adjustments on our two year project.  Yes after two years and four (4) motors, we are at the end of the journey, set the timing, do some carb adjustments, and go to the ramp for a leak check!

After running the engine for about 10 minutes, (30 seconds at a time) all gauges work, good oil pressure, and all leaks fix (one fuel leak on carb).  Last run to nail timing and tighten down distributor.  Cindy, which is operating the starting duties, and standing on the left side of the boat, yells to me that there is something black coming out of the side of the motor.
