To be honest, I don't think its got anything to do with the governor or the Senate... Low level bureaucracy at work here.

You seem upset, what with the oversize font & whatnot....

Lol. Didn't know the Governor or Senate had anything to do with it either.

Yep, most certainly some Squirrel Sherrif stuff going on here. Lol

Most all tree huggers align themselves to the liberal agenda hence the reason for my comment.

I think we are in need of a complete re-vamping of the government elected officials....... none of them are trustworthy. Time to clean house and get all new blood in there.

Those in Office generally follow the political office above them.  Is the Sheriff a liberal?
There are not very many people in office with any power within Texas that are considered liberals today.
I don't know the Sheriff, so is he a liberal?  Are the people making the decisions liberals?

I don't know.  So, tell me, are they liberals?

Extremest's on either side are the problem, regardless of being liberal or conservative.

Shooting coyotes is fun, but shooting lawyers is more fun.
And it's not necessarily the Sheriff that is the problem, unless homeowners from the surrounding area complain, it's the FROG MARSHALLS that bring the liberal attitude to our Sport.  Just my .02

yea I have thought about going and sitting in on the meeting and asking for some time to discuss several things, I have noticed in the reports they are getting there data from there seems to be a miss conception of our types of boats, seeing how in the reports we were only represented by 1% of all the boaters interviewed/ questioned, Also last resort seeing if they would entertain an event permit deal. For Hydrofest

Not sure but I think I would need to talk to Bill and get his blessing to use or represent THB as a whole.

any word on the final outcome on this???

this is from the SJRA for conroe  -->

(10) Operate a motor-powered vessel on the waters of the Reservoir without an exhaust water manifold with water running through it or a tractor-type muffler installed and in use on the engine.
(11) Operate any vessel anywhere on the reservoir in a manner to create a nuisance from unnecessary exhaust noise.
In particular:
(a) The operator of a vessel equipped with a through-hull or surface exhaust must use the subsurface exhaust mode, if so equipped, when operating inside of any “NO WAKE” zone, or within 100 feet of any shoreline or shoreline structures, and
(b) Any vessel with through-hull or surface exhaust that is not equipped with an alternative subsurface exhaust may only operate at idle engine speed, when operating inside of any “NO WAKE” zone, or within 100 feet of any shoreline or shoreline structures, with no unnecessary revving of engines.
