logs and hose are cool and quiet....a pair of lightenings would be really loud, especially with a blower motor....
so yeah, we'll see how they handle it. But then again, we show up with some badass tt hulls, they will find a way to run us out. One, 2 boats is ok, 40 is a different story. IMO.
yes, still need it, will have cash. Thanks, Randall.soldier of fortune said:well if i end up coming down there to pay off my truck next week then i will drop the dizzy off to you .if you still need it.

Guys look at what he said,,here's your loophole! He said "ANY BOAT" ok so the last time i looked at my outboard and all the other outboards they have an "ABOVE WATER" exhaust! Here is is from the HNIC Mr. Wilfred Korth Chief Ranger. copy this letter he wrote to Randal and take it with you and protest the hell out of it when the outboards start launching and they wont let you.soldier of fortune said:Mr. Ross;
To clarify the rumors you may have heard – for the past several years GBRA has been evaluating the types of use and levels of use on all the reservoirs it operates with an eye toward safety, overcrowding conditions, and compatibility of uses and users again on each of its reservoirs. After much review and study, and with assistance from an outside consultant, a number of proposed policy changes have been submitted with regard to specific uses on these reservoirs. One of those proposed policy changes will deal with use of any boat with an above water exhaust system on a GBRA reservoir. GBRA has decided that use of these types of watercraft on all of our reservoirs will be restricted and is currently in the process of having our Board of Directors approve that said change along with the other proposed policy changes. Once the GBRA Board approves that policy change, which should occur within the next two months, then no boat with an above water exhaust will be allowed to launch on or use any of the GBRA operated reservoirs.
If you have any additional questions about this matter please don’t hesitate to email back or call.

WRONG! look again it has both! Actually it is a exhaust relief that sits ABOVE the water line and used while at idle. just making a point that the old crusty HNIC has shot himself in the foot saying "ALL BOATS" its all in his wording of the whole thing!Crusader said:Old buck. My outboard exhausts through the propeller as do 99% of outboards.

lol but you know what im talking about! wackers have both above and below the water line. wonder if anybody will ever bring that up if these new rules go into effect?Knotty said:Crusader said:Old buck. My outboard exhausts through the propeller as do 99% of outboards.
When the wheel is spinning it is out of the water. That is why you see the oil smoke.
lol yup and its still above the water line! Guess they just want to turn those lakes into sailing lakes only crazy.gifCrusader said:Exhaust relief, lol....okay. You got me.
