Wow, more posts in the last 24 hours than the last year. Yall know I don't get involved in this type of BS but I guess I've been pulled into it. So heres my take...

Matt, if you want to be an ambassador to the sport, then go for it. I lack the time or desire to search out new boaters. If you care so much then offer up a solution, an idea, a dream, anything. Otherwise it's nothing more than whining. Share some ideas instad of just complaining. We all listen to enough of that s*** at home.

In the first post you wrote that one can only assume a private group in to hide out from new members. Laughable brother. You know what happens when you ASSUME. I post very little on THB and NONE on my homepage because I don't want my business out there. If you can't understand that, I can't help you.

I've known you for damn near 15 years and for you to think theres some kind of sinister plot out there and that I'm apart of it... I don't know man.  You know I'm always open so give me a call.

I guess you do, otherwise you wouldn't post this. I mean theres some top notch individuals being thrown under the bus here.  I still hope to hear from you when you get a minute.

Interesting take on it.  Not sure how my first post is considering whining.  But hey, you are entitled to your opinion just as I am.  I don't recall ever calling you out by name.  I have no idea who is a part of that group.  I do know that for some reason if I bring something up VS. Any other member here, it gets blown out of proportion very quickly.  Once again though, that is off the subject of this thread.  I was just pointing out that it is much more difficult for a new guy in town to get connected to the local performance boat group than it has been in the past.  That's all, nothing more.

Maybe whine is the wrong word but this is not the first time you brought it up, yet still no ideas. Honestly, I don't really care about any of that. But I am interested in finding out who's running the rumor mill. It's complete bullshit and I'd like to put an end to it because it couldn't be any further than the truth. I'd put 500 dollars on it if anyone wants to check.

Okay, here is an idea.  It's a mix of new and old.  Post up about the local weekly stuff in a place people that are not members of a group can see it.  Then if a new guy in town wants to come introduce himself he will know where to go.  Worked pretty freaking well in the past.  If there is no interest in welcoming new peeps to the hobby, stay on the current path.  How Bout that???

Now that is laughable.  I was run out of town by members of that group 2 years ago.  What on earth makes you think they would want to inform me where they are going so I could post it on THB.
