Hell I just want Spring to get here so we can go to the lake . I still like this site the best for the Hot Boat get together, information and communication .. The Steel Creek and Plowman group always communicate through here still , It want be long and we will be meeting at the River and having fun .. I agree , it is hard for the new Hot Boat people  to find out where we are hanging out. I guess I am old school and will be on this site until it shuts down .. Hopefully not for a long time  ..

I couldn't tell you what it's all about.  Hell I have the slowest tub on the lake next to Cliff.  They could talk shit about beating me and it would be the truth.  LOL.  All good with me though.  Like you, I am the type to get out there and invite people into the hobby with open arms.  Pretty sure that's been proven over the last few years.  FYI, Plan is to be at more Outlaw events this year.  We will see what the summer brings.

It's a private page, not a secret page. Anyone is welcome to join. If you don't want to join it that's your choice. I'll tell you what though. A majority of the guys on the private page are there solely because it is private. We talk about going on a weekend trip without the entire world knowing our houses are empty. Me, I could care less, but it matters to some. While closed groups like THB and the Outlaws prevent outside people from posting, they are still open to be veiwed by anyone. They just can't post to it. So when you post up on THB or the Outlaws page that we'll be at Broken Bow for 5 days, anyone can see that your house will be empty for the entire weekend. Some people are dead set against that type of use. A private page is the answer.

A private page lets you discuss private information like that without the everyone being able to see it. That's what it's intended for and believe it or not, this is the way most prefer to use it. If you think it's there to talk shit about you guy, you're wrong. Get over yourself. talking crap about you guys is not even an afterthought.

Close but still missing the point.  I am not talking g about overnight, weekend trips.  I am talking g about the local, we are going to be at X place on X day kind d of stuff.  The things where someone new I  town could just show up and get to know the local crowd.  Pretty sure I said that in my first post.  I totally get not broadcast g to the public when you are out of town.  Private group is a great option for that but once again. It is not what I wS referring g to I  this thread.
