Forecast shows 5mph winds with 14mph gust. We should be good as long as the gusts aren't every 5min lol.
Looks like I'm going to make it Sunday. Traffic will suck for sure around rowlett and rockwall. James & cliff I go to the lake I live 2miles from one. Lol. Plus my kids sports comes first. Bobby don't make me tell tom to come lol lol just messing back at ya see y'all Sunday.

Talked to my buddy Steve that keeps his boat at captains cove. He said their ramps are unusable. He also said the beach at red barn is great now that the lake is down.

I'm still on... whats a good ramp to use? I was thinking about coming down 66 and using one of the ramps on the Dalrock peninsula, is the ramp N of I-30 there any good?Motor Head said:

I believe Dalrock N is closed because it is being removed from service not because of the water level. I think everyone is going to use the west ramp at Robertson Park. Dawn and I plan to be there around noon. Not sure what part of I-30 is closed but I believe it is west of the lake. If you come in on Dalrock you should be OK.

The ramp south of I30 and west of Dalrock in Robertson park is the one to use. That's the one that faces Bass Pro. I30 MAY be closed at the 190 extension for work on the new over pass. Yesterday it was only closed on the eastbound side but traffic was still getting through on the service road. Westbound had no issues at all.
I won't be there till around 3:15. Gonna watch the Cowboys game with Maria. She's feeling a little under the weather and doesn't want to go to the lake but wants to watch the game. If it's a blowout I'll be there sooner.
Put a good tune on the Glastron yesterday so Jason can see a fast Ford...
It's kind of cool out this morning anyhoooo, so if anybody wants to come by and watch the game we'll be here. Bring your boat, the ramp is 5 minutes from my house once the game is over.
