yep you said it  :smile26:

yes I did and I know the way things are.  its just a matter of fact that until you prove it then its not going to be true.  I could stay home this weekend and work on it definitely would save some money but then one its good to get out and away and two would get just as ragged on for not coming out.  So its a damned if i do and damned if i don't so i will just let it roll off my back like water on a duck.

you should load all the boat stuff up on a trailer & haul it to Rogers, then ya'll could work on it together & get it knocked out, Roger has skillz...

Oh wait, he has a boat he's already not workin on in the way. never mind... lol

LOL That means I have to put it back on the trailer, reinstall the cap, fix the trailer lights since my neighbor broke one of the brand new ones off.  Oh yeah install the new bunk boards/rollers before any of that gets done.  Hmm I'll see ya'll sunday when you get off the river then.

CJ...I have some yellow left over from my trailer job....we can brush that on your boat and call it good.

Yellow on my boat hmmm i like the red white and blue not sure where the yellow would fit in.  It would have been real fitting to have it done this weekend and be spouting the red white and blue with a new flag too.  Oh well will have to make sure its ready for the 4th of July then.

I do have to decide what to paint the trailer though.

Don't forget to spray it during a dust storm and hold it real close.

Was just testing the waters with it for sale. No good bites on it and now about have everything to complete it, to include a TITLE. As long as it's shiny, the Junk Yard Dog will do with whatever paint job is on it. Bury it in a few layers of clear and BAM!!! Done. I still have a 3/4 jar a flake left from the Glastron so I'll probably shoot some metal flake scallops on her next week. BBF power with a 150 nitrous shot will get it across the water pretty good too. With scraps and leftovers I don't even have a grand into this thing yet and it's a steering cable away from being complete, parts wise.

I paid $200 for the motor right out of a Lincoln, and it'll eat a 150 shot like a ho on crack.... Just gonna put a happy little street/strip cam in it with a single plane intake and an 850 Demon I have sitting around here. It'll be fast enough to beat up on a few Chevy's.

I need one of those rubber bushings that go on the pump where the bell housing mounts. Can't put the motor in till I have that in my hot little hands. What is that part called? Can't seem to find it on CP Performance, ARS Marine or Jet Boat Performance.

It is called a "Rubber Mount"

Since this is a junk yard dog you might run up to Home Depot and look at the rubber couplings for sewer pipe.  Take that bearing cap with you to check size.  You may can find something that you can cut up and use.  The "Fernco mod" was pretty common with the LS guys.  It was a plumbing reducer that could be used to replace the factory bellows between the MAF and TB.  It was smooth and cheap.  LOL.

Any of you guys run car gauges in your boat? I found a great deal on a matching set of gauges but they're not marine gauges. I would think auto gauges would be OK in a boat that doesn't live on the water and stays covered or garaged when not in use.

Lot of guys use Auto Meter automotive gauges.
