Henry, all kidding aside (for now) , I applaude you for being so easy-going about this. The posting of pictures and/or videos of something like this usually is just not done by most peeps due to embarrassment. The fact you talk about it, warn others, and allow folks to post this is just...awesome. I commend your attitude, and consider you a top-notch THB member. That being said, did you see that squirrel?
Thanks Duane,
I have met some incredible folks because of the board. I figure if I could help someone by being up front about this accident that is the correct thing to do. I have learned myself a valuable lesson and hope others have too from my mistake. I would hate for this to happen to another boater. The Good Lord was looking after me on this one and give him all the credit, it could have been so much worse. I want everyone to be safe no matter what type boat you have. I though I was being safe so that just goes toward what many have said it can happen quick to anyone. It does not matter what speed you are traveling. I also can't say enough for the help I got that day from the Resters, Trey, and Becket's crew.
As far as the squirrel, I chased that sucker as far as I could up that tree. That was one quick animal. I do not know where he went after that.
