I'll admit my pump is worn. I was turning lower RPM with more speed when I got the boat. My pump is all Berkeley with a berk imp. If I were going with AT gear I'd go wtih an A rather than AA. I thought it was a pretty large gain in RPM, but the speed gain was big also. I hit 56mph on motor, and topped out at 66.7 on spray. I've heard 460's eat nitrous like it's crack, and mine seems to fit the mold.

that is real close to the general rule and I stress general 2mph for every 100rpm gain

not set up for top end I have it set up for ET. I was hitting 82 in 500'. Not sure what I am doing now that I have made a few hardware changes and turned the impy just know I am now turning 6100 on motor and have not hit the button yet. I added a 200 shot

For what TFS heads cost, I'd go with P-51's instead. They'll outflow TFS heads for $200 less. My .02

Will one of these work under the marine timing chain cover? It should the same as the car cover, right? The cover that goes on top of the timing cover is different.

CAT is cheap Chinese imported parts.  My guess is it would fit but no way I'd trust a $50 gear drive.

There was a set of their roller tip rockers on the Pontiac when I got it.  Total junk.  Remind me and I'll bring a couple to show you.

Ebay is a wonderous thing.... Saved a bundle on my impeller.. Now, just scored my forged pistons for about $200 less then I planned on paying for them! SWEEEEET.....

OK... It will just be a good true roller chain then.. Probably the best anyway. Turn out Pete Jackson, Pro Comp and Cat gear drives are the same unit in a different box.

The cylinders didn't even have a carbon ring on the top!! It's at standard bore now and I'm getting it punched to .030 over.

More engine goodies arrived today... .030 over TRW forged pistons with a .22 dish netting 9.5:1 compression with 72cc Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet aluminum heads.... and more than happy to absorb a NOS shot.
