Made Van Horn in 9hrs 15 min, from Katy. That's over 1/2 way to Phoenix. Smooth trip, no issues.

If you get a chance to visit Van Horn, don't bother. I took a pic of the rig to show the cops in case it got stolen overnight.

The little blue CP is for sale. I'll race anybody from idle to 800 ft. This weekend I'll be in Parker for the SoCal deal.

The little blue cp I was referring to I think is running 116 on the squeeze in 800' that's scooting pretty darn good for a (lake) boat...

Yep, 116 is pretty good for any lake boat at any distance.  Of course the next question would be, how do you define, "LAKE BOAT?" :smile30:

Made it safe and sound. No unscheduled events  jump.gif. Supposed to hit 100 this weekend. But it's a dry heat. :)

Dry heat or not, you still don't need a heavy coat in the sun.
Have fun.

What's going on with those fires out there? Saw where Pirate's Cove was caught up in some of it briefly. That's not anywhere around ya'll is it?

Glad you made it out there without issue, ought to be a fun time. :smile17:

Don't know about fires. Ran thru just enough rain to wreck my wash and polish. Got to Parker, no issues except the rain.

It's 9 am here and a lot of boats going in the water. I'm still drinking coffee. Interesting shot wheel and a few boat pics.

The weather wasn't all that great. Partial sun but it was warm enough. There were about 50 boats, mostly jets. NASTY BOY represented Texas quite well. I made a couple of passes in front of the beach and I guess nobody wanted to race.

These are family events so it's pretty much PG rated. Saw a few thong bikinis.

Everyone was very friendly and impressed that someone would drive all the way from Texas for one of their events. I did explain that my daughter lives in Phoenix.
