Great pics and looks like a great time. You are a lucky man to have both the time and money to enjoy life in the way you do!  I hope to be in that position some day. Keep the pics coming!!

Thanks. Made it back to Phoenix no problems. Light traffic. Now, rest up for a few days and off to Havasu. Over the 3 days on the water I put 100 miles on the boat. Ran great, except for the little miss at certain rpm's. Waiting for my new dizzy cap. That should take care of the miss.

:smile13: Talking about Cali being expensive!!!! We are on the Cali side of the river but trailer over to Arizona side to get gas. Cali is 70 cents more for the same 91 octane gas. $3.70 vs $4.40.

Made it to Havasu no problems. Daughter and her friend are a couple hours behind. The Baja is at Ron's Fiberglass repair. Seems there is a crack in the bottom on the pad before the pump intake. I happened to see this yesterday when I was under the boat checking the ride plate and intake grate. It's 4" long and allows water into the boat. I have no idea how that crack got there. No sign of damage, like hitting a rock or whatever. He said he will have it fixed by 5:00 PM tonight good enough to use this weekend. I'll leave the boat with him on Monday to fix it completely. I may have him look at my stereo also. I've never been happy with the sound.

In the last pic  am over the center line. Driving and taking pics is dangerous. Bad Jeff!!!!!

It's 7:30 pm here and boats on the trailer. I'm wore smooth out. The ladies left around 3 and I had to take a little nap to let the margaritas wear off. I went back to the channel looking for some pasties. Found some. Pics tomorrow.
Put 40 miles on the boat today. At least 50 yesterday and 20 Friday afternoon/evening.

Next weekend is Parker.

Oh, and it was freakin' hot today. We went to a cove called Three Dunes and the water temp was perfect. Probably 80 or better. Hated to leave there but the girls have to work tomorrow.

These are pics of Three Dunes. It's a cove off the lake with a lot of sandy beach and crystal clear water.

It's 9 pm, I went down to the bar for a jack and coke. The bartender said it was 110 in Havasu today. At 9 pm it's still 102. With 4% humidity. It didn't feel that hot on the lake. I just went and checked on the boat in the parking lot and it did feel 102.

I'm back in Phoenix. I left the boat in Havasu so Ron's Wired for Sound could check out my stereo system. I've never been very happy with it. I'm going to pick it up Friday then double back to Parker for the weekend.

It hit 111 degrees in Phoenix today. 4% humidity.

Pic 1. Shot of the London Bridge Resort (LBR, where we stayed) from the Channel.
Pic 2 and 3. You can rent these pontoon boat from a lot of different places and they can come fully stocked or any way you want it. The girls were obviously extra and probably worth the money. This is the only time I saw pasties during the weekend. Everywhere we went it was family time.
Pic 4. Nice suit. You see a lot of these type suits.
Pic 5. That's Steamboat Cove on the lower part of the lake. It's as famous as Copper Canyon which is closer to Havasu City. As a matter of fact every cove or inlet on the lake has a name. There are at least a half dozen State Parks on the lower part of the lake.
Pic 6. There are waterfront camp grounds all up and down the lake that look very similar to this.

Went back to the sandbar across from the hotel. Stayed there till 6 pm then went up to Pirates Den for dinner. 1. Tubers.  2. Camping.. 3 .My hotel. 4,5,6. Shots of the sandbar characters . I met a lot of very nice people.  One guy even new Mike  Beisert from when he lived In College Station  3 years ago.
