Hey guys, got some "not so good news". The Crusader crew will not be able to come on out this weekend. A few things came up which weren't a factor when we decided to come down. Firstly, my home AC broke. It went out last Saturday and my friend got it running again. Then last night it went out again. We got it fixed late last night but not before the temp in the house rose to 88 degrees. I had to deal with some whiney kids and I'm afraid I'll have to dish out a ton of $$ I don't have for a new unit.

Secondly, my sons 4th grade tackle football team has thier first scrimmage Saturday as well......the coach just told us about it this past Sunday.

That sucks man, but I hear you on the a/c deal. Now is not the time for those type problems. We will just have to catch up with you at Tawakoni!

Thanks bro. It's only a 1 1/2 drive to Tawakoni for us and we plan on doing some tent camping there. We will have to leave for Jacobs football game but we will be back in a few hours to continue on.

Well guys hate to say it I have not missed this event in three years now BUT! I'm not going to make it this year talked to the owner at big creek were my cabin is, long story short he said the water was real bad and he would not put his boat in and with the money I have invested I'm not willing to chance it and the wife is complaining about not Bing able to ride so if she ant happy no one is happy so we are headed to canyon with some others also! my boat Lamar's boat Charles ,etc. Etc.Yall know the crews Sorry and we are gona miss yall drink one for me! Lol!

yeah the ramp at big creek is out of the water, careful at canyon theres spots you can f-up there to, there its not sand bottom its rock, but water is infinitely more pretty depending on where you put in be ready for a rough ride.

Yeah I go to canyon all the time my boat handles it well no problem here and even chads tx-19 does well its not that bad! Plus the water is way deep there so no worries! The river side is low but not gona be there

All I know is Welchfest, Rocky Creekfest, Summervillefest, or what ever you want to call it cannot get here fast enough.

Just tell 'em like I tell the kids anytime they want to go somewhere: "It's closed, cuz it burned down..." Works for Wal-Mart, the movies, the library, Chuck E. Cheese, etc... :cheesy: :grin:
