I'll see if I can do some photoshopping with that depth contour along with a standard map and also will mark some things to look out for that I have seen sticking out of the water, that way at least people can get an idea of where the stuff is sticking up before they hit the water. It's good and deep from Rocky back to the dam, haven't noticed any problems over that way, just in the shallows where it's fun to play with the jet cuz it's smooth water.
You'll just have to put the Depth Contour next to this map, they would not line up, the contour is shorter horizontally then the google map here, even if the water images were made the same size, not sure why, but someone just messed up either google or the contour people... Anyway.

I think Rocky Boat ramp maybe one of the last to close up once the lake gets below the now record level, so it is very busy, please park your boat trailers/trucks back at your campsite NOT at the ramp!!!!! There is not much parking there. Saturday it was so busy I had to park my truck/trailer like 1/8th mile away at the playground area, so did 2 other trucks/trailers.... Sunday wasn't as bad, but it was 100% full.

well called the corps office and talked to a real knowledgable guy, said the lake will not close...... ever. the only way you could not get on the lake is if the ramps came out of the water, i asked him about the depth of the ramp at rocky he said he would have to check. as of right now the three ramps open on the lake are overlook, rocky, and birch creek unit.

I now have a boat that is ready but do not have a truck to get it there. I may have to go to rent a truck. crazy.gif I think if I have to do that I will get a U-haul, Karol can really pack some junk then. :smile16:
