I would love to make it down there , but this weekend I will be traveling 8 hrs Saturday and 8 hrs Sunday for some personal business .. I would love to come down and be the trailer queen of welch fest .. I would be scared to put my slow boat in with you Southern guys with all  your fast boats ..

Sound like you guys want to pick on us northern guys with our slow boats :smile18: , so i better stick to my original plans for this weekend .. I would love to change my plans and come down .. It would only take me a few hours to slap the headers back on and run the valve and i could be ready to go . Need to stick the plugs back in it also .. Yeah , I ggogle it and thought it would be aboput 3.5 hours for me to get there ..But personal family stuff come first right now ..

I have a pretyy full next 3 weekend already line out , so maybe something late in August or  September .. hopefully we will be at Waco watching the SDBA races on Labor Day wekend ..

Don't know yet.....somewhere clean, safe and has room for the Crusader. The kids and I will be there early Friday afternoon and probably leave Sunday morning.

Too much to read through. Where can myself and two youngins' stay?? Theyre  7 and 9 y/o

  summerville Inn, 979 596 1000, stayed there 3 yrs in a row, cheap, cheerful, clean.

Might stay here Billy.....if it has a personal reference, it can't be too bad at all.

EDIT: Might not, the reviews for this place are terrible.

EDIT after reading reviews .
Hell , might just drive back home after playing for the day .. Get out of there about 6-7 PM aand be home by 10-11 PM .. Be for  a long day , or might just sleep in the truck for one night..

If it comes down to it & you don't feel comfortable having your boat in a hotel parking lot, I'm sure there will room at one of our campsites to park your boat for the night.  :smile17:

I will talk to JJ , EO , Wayne , Paul , Jim , Rocky , Tony D, Rusty , Tony A.and a few more and see if I can get a few of us to represent the north with you guys from Lavon ..

I not 100% I can make this weekend work , but i will try ..

Might take  a tent and spend the night at the camp ground or drive back home .. According to how tired I am ..

If they have any spot let when i get ther , I might just throw a tent for one night ..

That's kinda what I was thinking. The hotels look like they're right in the middle of downtown Somerville.
