Well the Nathans did not get to the reserve so I did not win. I found a set on Craigslist here in Austin for $100.00 brand is GG and they look pretty nice. I know they are cheap but I think I will buy them for now and get my air compressor and tank and maybe upgrade later to the Nathans. I do like the sound of the Nathans better.

They are pretty wicked, had a friend of mine I used to run with that bought a brand new set of 5 belles, think he paid like $1200 for them, but man they would blow cars off the road. He had them mounted behind the cab facing backwards and they would blow dust off the frame... :smile17:

I bought a pair of GG horns yesterday from a guy here local. $100.00 and I made and drilled a plate to mount them on and welded it to the frame, kind of like boxing in the frame on the inside and tucked the horns up under the truck out of the way. They are protected and point backwards. I hooked up my garage air and I think for the price these are loud enough. Bought a compressor and just need to order a tank.

To make em sound good it's got alot to do with air volume, pressure second so get a decent size tank and run 1/2" hose if possible. Just my .02

Shoot I just saw this. I was looking at the solenoid that came with it and it was a small hose barb and 1/4" npt out to the horns. So I bought a new 1/4" solenoid on both sides and 1/4" hose ID. So I will give it a try first. If I do not get good results the tank has a 1/2" bushing and I try running a 1/2" hose to the horn and the reduce down. I hope it works the first time. I orderd my stuf last night so maybe I will have time to finish this week.
