Tawakoni Hot Boat Regatta

Its prob going to have to be the boat ramp on the road NOT THE PARK boat ramp.  Unless we get a ton of rain in 3 weeks.    Which we got a pretty good storm blow threw tonight.  jump.gif

It is only TWO WEEKS to the event .. Thank for the update on the ramp

yeah the cut thru at the old dam on lake dallas has about 6 inches of water over it ... didn't know it til rocks went up the pump  :angry: now I go 25 mph @ 3k rpm and shakes real bad over that  :smile15:

That's not good man. Get it fixed I know you got some fresh parts around there somewhere! think.gif

Sure wish we could make it :smile18: Going to pick up my boat this weekend from the glass shop. He has been done for a few weeks but i needed to come up wit the last 200 to pay him off. That is done now. Short bus will be back in action next year!

Glad you got her out of the shop. Next year is better than never my friend. How about some pics on your Sanger thread! think.gif

Couple of questions ive been asked...
Anyone goin out on Friday?
And has anyone talked to lake officials (corp) or whoever heads up Tawakoni about setting out the buoys? and if any permits were needed...etc.
Just wonderin...
And hows the lake levels for the event area and ramps...? i'm comin regardless. :smile30:

Checking with Lake officials is huge.  They came and shut us down in Lousianna on the Red River because we did not check with them first.  They hung around for a lone time to make sure we did not do Any side-by-sides.  We did out wait them though.

Exactly why i asked! I know sometimes we start at the bottom...when we should go straight to the top! I'm sure its probably cool with the marina owner...but ya know what i mean! :smile30:

The kids and I will be there late Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday. We plan on tent camping......anyone care to share a spot with us? We plan on showing up and popping up the tent anywhere we can find a spot.
