Depends on a few different factors but you pick up torque too. My set up gained 2/10ths in 1000' so I'm not sure what that rquates to in horsepower but it did go quicker and faster. I also think the more rpm you spin the more you benefit with one.

You are correct! Torque is a big gain in the factor but you do gain on average 50-100 hp depending on application and intake/carbs! Good carbs is a big gain also if your gona do two carbs dont hold out on carbs ive seen 50hp just with carbs on a dino! Mine are TRE carbs and they ant cheep when you have them custom built but they meen power! When we/lamar ran NHRA pro stock Ive seen a .10 out of them!

Well I run dual carbs no nos or blower and the only boat I tested with was a yellow v drive and yeap he ate my lunch.  Need tons of pwer to move my swtd.  And yes knotty that white avenger was one quick boat for sure.  I think he supprised a few tx 19s as well.

I would like a tunnel ram set up , I know where there is a good Tall Deck Dart tunnel ram., if I could get him to sell it , then  having to buy two 1050 Dominators , lingages , fuel line , regulators and more , just can't afford it . Hell I am lucky just to keep mine going right now

If any one in interested , My co worker has an old Offenhouser  360 Turbo Thrust Tunnel ram for sale .Set up for the 4150 style holley carbs ..  He put in in my truck and told me to sell it for him . $125.00 local pick up --This is for Big Block Chevy , rectangle port

Well, I'm getting tired of breaking 460's so I'm exploring the option of dropping an injected LS6 with the centrifugal supercharger in the Glastron. 500 reliable horsepower easily attainable, and it'll fit under the hood and not get too hot. So stick that down your tunnel ram!! LOL

Don't worry Ford guys, the Enforcer will still be a 460. It's just really difficult to work on the motor in the Glastron's little engine compartment.

In those 500 pic there is one of him smoking me off the line.  I thought I was going to take it easy on him but he forced me to hit it hard, that sucka was quick.

Hey James what happen ?? I seen you run Saturday but did not know you had problems ..

It started knocking severly under one  of the valve covers. When I pulled them off the number 8 push rod was completely loose. The lock on the rocker was still tight in place. Went and adjusted it back down and it ran good for about 1/2 a mile an started knocking again. It still runs, it's just really loud and noisy. We towed it to the ramp then drove it onto the trailer under its own power. It's just a pain messing with in the that tight space. I have to take the entire back of the interior to get full access to it. Water the oil, then throwing a rod, now this. Ugh.....

Plus a supercharged LSX small block would just be cool. A buddy of mine a few years back had a Paxton forced LS1 in a 3rd gen Camaro that was disgustingly fast. It ran so damn smooth and the hood was totally flat. No scoop at all.

sounds like the cam went bad . never know these day with the oil not having enough zink in it .. Sorry you having troubles again ..

Time to put a roller in it ..

I believe LS6's come with rollers, right?

All the LS platform motors are full roller.
