He was supposed to be here this morning, then an hour ago, but we should never be here on Sunday. I got the baby Tron hooked to the truck and cooler is full of cold ones.
EDIT: He finally shows at 3:15. We're just gonna unhook the boat and go home at this point.

Nope, no one else there. I saw my buddy Nelsen and his dad out ont he lake....they were fishing and caught a nice catfish. The lake was white capping however where I was (in front of collin park marine) the chop wasn't bad at all.
I had quite a bit of oil blow out of the dipstick yesterday.....hope it's nothing too major....might need to change out the PCV valve etc.

PCV only works at idle. Time to do a leak down test. Did you check the level on the dipstick? You may have hurt that big Ford when you ran it with no water last time out. I hope not but better to diagnose it now.

Went to the cove at Collin Park today. Man the water was smooooooooth. Jr's boat is back on the water. I left at 12:30 to go for an hour or two, didn't get home till 8!!
That's some nice water in that cove. I think we're parking over there from now on too.

Word is that only the boat rental is moving. They're gonna get the walkway drug up a little farther over the next few days. There are going to be sanctioned jet ski races in there in July or something, so the marina will stay where it is until the end of summer.
FYI: One of the old guys that lives there came over and tried to tell Kirby he can't haul A$$ in the cove, after a dozen or so fishing boats went ripping out wide open. We kindly informed him that the water in the cove belongs to the state of Texas, and that state law requires we stay 50ft away from other boats and fixed objects. That's 17 1/2 yards. Not very far. Andy knows the guy, he just didn't like the noise. He just lives in the trailer park and no authority whatsoever. I'm pretty sure his wife is the mean lady that works the gate.
About a dozen to 15 or so came out.

They haven't moved anything as of yet. This Sunday is forecast for mid 80's with a 15-20 mph wind, which means absolutely SQUAT when we're in the cove at Collin Park. See you all on Sunday, parking in the marina lot.
