As far as I know we're all going tomorrow. Supposed to be some wind but the cove in Collin Park is still empty and protected from it. I think we'll be parking in the marina parking lot again. I probably won't have the boat tomorrow, but will have an umbrella on the truck bed.  Gonna bring a grill and brats too.

Hey Rick, that's a nice little hot rod you have there. A couple more weeks and we'll be on Pebble Beach. Best get them motors, pumps, projects and what not running. Gotta have a boat to get to Pebble Beach.

The motor would start and run on the trailer but wouldn't stay running in the water.

Tried a few times to keep it running with no luck. Decided to keep it on the trailer and drink beer for the rest of the day. I'm going to just rebuild the motor and the heads.

It's not dead, it's only wounded. It will be back. It would run on the ramp, then when it hit the water it wouldn't start. I know they were messing with the spark, but I'll bet it may be a carb problem. Once it's leaning back on the ramp it's just dumping fuel down the intake.

still trying to get my ride ready. I had my boys this weekend and hung out with them but i should have it ready this week. If I don't see y'all wed I'll see y'all Sunday.

Sounds like Ya'll had some fun this weekend.  Sorry to hear about the motor Cliff.  But we was all expecting that outcome that it needs a rebuild after the last few weeks of info about the motor.  Now if it had been a Chrysler it would have given you once last blast before demanding the rebuild.  Ha ha just kidding when they are tired they lay down and go to sleep.  Hope you get it back up and running soon with either your motor or James' motor.

Looking like the weather is going to be crap this Sunday also. If it is, I'll bring the grill up to the shop and we can hang out here out of the weather. I might work on the boat some depending on how much drinking we do. I know Cliff wants to bead blast some parts.

I need to get the new motor to the power washer too.  Hmm wonder if I can get my old power washer fired up and working or if its time to take it to the small engine guy to tune it up.  It would do a much nicer job than the washer at the car wash would.  Crap just remembered I have a job to do this afternoon, need to pull a 4 banger nissan motor out of a truck, hone and rering it and put it back together with some new bearings.  Fun times.

Looks like 70% chance of sever weather on Sunday. Probably 100% chance of hard rain. Soooo, Maria's got the guys getting the shop cleaned up. We'll have the gas grill with a new tank just inside the back garage door. There will be plenty of parking, tunes on the stereo, a couple of jet boats inside to lean on and get tanked, you can smoke inside, and a bathroom for the girls to use. If you really need a fridge wait till Maria's had a few and make an awesome deal with her. LOL

I don't have time to drive up to negotiate a deal with her , if I just call the shop late in the afternoon do you think I can talk her into free delivery ?
