Gald you got out and enjoyed the water JJ .. My Dad and cousin still went to Steel Creek Saturday and cooked out and swam .. James showed up with his Blown Alcohol boat but had a fuel leak and could not make any passes ..  Look like you guys had some nice water ..

Did not get my boat finished so I took the day off and meet Pall and his son JT for a boat ride. We put in at Kimble and went upriver, all the way to the island, yes the island did not think there was enough water in the river but we made it. The water was around 5’ deep at its deepest. For those of you who have never been upriver from Kimble you are missing a trifecta ride.

That looks very nice! A ride upriver has been talked about for years, but never made it up that way... either the water was down, spent too much time down river watching the boats run, etc... Looks like a great place to hang out, very mellow. Definitely gotta try checking it out sometime.

Right Oldbuck???!!??  :smile16:

Need to do it before you sell your jet, pontoon take too long & I'd probably run out of gas zig zagging all the way up there, lol
Helps if you actually fill the boat all the way to full!

I always start with a full tank, but then my tank isn't very big.
