There will be no driving for us today.  It's only worth it until you have a wreck.... and the odds of that are much much higher today.  What I hate even worse than the ice is the damn sand that will be on the roads for the next couple of weeks.  That crap is hell on the car paint.  190 turns into an 80 MPH sand blaster.  Dawn will be taking the surface streets to work for the next couple of weeks.

Knowin' my luck, the minute I pulled the boat out of the water.....the water in the bowl and block would freeze. Lol.

Glad we took the Whaler out on Saturday.....she's tucked away in my garage and I don't have to worry about it freezing in there.

Damm it. I was at least hoping it would be better by quiting time .. Maybe the roads will be a little better , but most likely will be worse. It was a nice cushion sleet when i drove in , it will be packed and frozen solid soon ..

Damm it. I was at least hoping it would be better by quiting time .. Maybe the roads will be a little better , but most likely will be worse. It was a nice cushion sleet when i drove in , it will be packed and frozen solid soon ..

Yep.  I'm betting conditions are going to get worse. Between the cushion getting packed and the melt from traffic refreezing, it's gonna be a sheet of pure ice on the roads before long.  Tomorrow morning is gonna be even worse than today.
