Slight signs of SPRING!!

I'm a pilot, but I don't own a plane. I throw all my money in a big hole in the water. At one time i experienced the trauma of owning ones own plane, and the expense was off the charts. Even though I could write it off the expense was not worth it. I fly other peoples hardware and they give me enough money t pay my bills and play boy boat racer. It's a much easier on the pocketbook, and I get my flying fix and play with my boats.

Here's a "slight sign of spring" for ya....
Temp: 74F degrees
Winds: 9mph from the south.
Yep....putting the Whaler in the lake today for some fishing.
Oh, and the kids want to "practice" driving the Whaler around too..... Nothing like having two Captains in training. My 9 year old son has already driven the Crusader and he had a smile from ear to ear for a few hours afterwords. Lol.......I love this stuff!

Yes sirs .... signs of spring all round today. I went fishing on the dock toady and got about 8 bass on rattletraps in 2 hrs. Nothing big but they were sure hitting hard. lot's of boat son the lake today bassboats, pontoons and then I heard a jetboat coming down the lake. I haven't seen this one before so I don't know who they were. I can't wait until warmer weather so I can get out of the house.

It pretty bad out there , I made it to work , but the fastest safe speed was about 45 this morning ..

Well looks like about 7" of spring time on the ground here in central Okla. and thats on top of 1 to 2" of sleet. I'm building a fire in the fire place and play computer tag today. As for work ................................... Fork Um.......... :smile17: Oh by the way.

Spring is here with a vengance today!!! Better get out there and cut that grass!! LOL..
We're getting Edward a Traxxas for his birthday also. I got him a crappy $50 4x4 for Christmas and it's already in the trash can. We'll probably go for speed with a 2wd Slash trophy truck. Maybe a Rustler stadium truck.. it runs 35mph!!

It doesn't really look that bad, but it's ALL ICE out there. Be careful if you're on the road. All DFW schools are closed, DFW Airport is closed, Dart operations are suspended.... Oh, Rowlett Discount Appliances is closed also..
