Well that sucked!!! whatever.gif Peanutbutter in my hair, down my shirt sweating my A$$ off in the painters suit! But it's done, I will glass it in on the back side, fill the gage holes and prep it for paint, then moving on!

I havnt been posting many pics because working on the ski locker is miserable tight, and boring.. I have begun glassing pieces in though, the first piece gives me a space to add foam and allows for a 32 in deep locker. The last pic is drilling holes in the deck for pour foam access  :smile20: ballsy I know but it worked and she is getting painted so I wasn't worried.

I was wondering about the semi-circular cut outs in the bulkhead and now see the tubular looking pieces from underneath, answered that question. :laugh:

What do u guys think? Glass it in or make sacrificial mounts so its remove able?  :smile24: Is the hole to big? Should I use a door or a net? Project is stalling because I cannot decide what to do with this piece?

Glassing it in would be strong for sure, but you have quite a bit of bracing up there as it is correct? Long as it didn't affect the strength or structure of that area, I kinda like the idea of the sacrificial mounts so it is removable. Not sure why you'd need to, but if the situation were to present itself, you'd have that option. Far as the opening itself, I'd use net or maybe vinyl flap with snaps.

It looks good, like how you radiused the opening instead of just straight cutting it. "Radiused" is what I guess you'd call it anyway?  :cheesy:

I have decided to glass it in after a lot of pondering I fear the sacrificial mounts will lead to trouble down the road, bolts coming loose, too much play in the bulkhead, so I decided to glass it in. I tremble the thought of laying carpet in the locker tho  :smile18:

Dumbass!!! Just took some measurements cause I was bored and my biulk head is More than an inch off, meaning the drivers side is sitting and inch further into the bow than the passenger.. Can I live w the mistake?  crazy.gif son of a @&$& I made the mistake of lining it up w the factory indentations on the upper deck supports.. Instead of using a damn tape measure I went w the factory lines :smile15:
