Don't want to derail Ryan's thread he is doing great work but the CJ has had a big setback. 
But yes hadn't really thought about the battery platforms but since the CJ had foam in those areas too with a plywood floor wasn't really thinking much of it either.

I thought long and hard about glassing in the boxes, and finishing the front off. The more I thought about it I figured this way water will never have a chance to rot anything out, as it can flow right under the battery tray and out the drain hole.

Hoping to get the interior built this weekend, off the the lumber yard in the morning to get more ply... Here is the back seat progress to night.

Not sure what the factory was thinking in this side panel? crazy.gif it's trimmed to fit now, little peanut butter, fiber glass and belt sanding and it will be one solid piece

Calling it quits for the weekend, back seat is mocked up just need to pl and glass some areas .. Had to clean up the garage and wanted to see the hatch from a far..

Well it's official I just glassed in my last piece for the bilge area of the boat, the sacrificial back seat mount. I also ordered some Pettit gray bilge paint today as well.. One last pic before she is all covered up.  jump.gif

The boat is looking good . Can't wait to see the finished project .. My cousin has a Taylor SS boat and he sure likes it  ..You are doing a great job ..

Well after removing the steering cable from the steering wheel I noticed the wood behind the dash is all rotten.... whatever.gif anybody ever replaced theirs before ?? Major setback for team SS  crazy.gif
