I hope so! I am gonna loose about 8 inches of my back seat but having saddle tanks will be worth the loss I hope.  :smile29:

I was messing around on Craigslist this morning & ran across a Taylor SS & had what appeared to be a belly tank. Guess its a little late to think about that now huh. It also did not have a windshield, it was more of a big bubbledeck for lack of a better description. Guessing it was a factory option? Never seen one made without the windshield.

Yea they made what's called an SSD model which has a raised deck, I like the look and have considered making mine like that.

This is not it, but a buddy of mine had one in the late 70's. Cool looking boat!! Did a lot of skiing behind it back then.

Yes! I love the raised deck if only I could figure out how to make a mold that u could glass to mine.... Wheels are turning, would be cheaper than a 1400 dollar windshield and I like that look

Yep.    Colors may be close enough to get away with that!!

U all are bad influences on me.... :smile30: now I have to figure out how to get the wife to go for this.. Her requirements were that boat has a windshield, and covered motor.

lol, I hear ya.  :cheesy: whats the deal about a windshield? You have to be sitting pretty far down in the boat for them to actually keep the wind out of your face. Mostly for looks if you ask me. The windshield & the SSD deck are gonna be about the same same windwise I imagine.

Actually that model came from the factory with a small plexiglass windsheild (more like a deflector) that you could have made and put on it..............problem solved!!!!! :smile30:

Cleburne kinda out in no mans land looking at it on the map, doesn't really look close to anything. One of the north bunch may be close that could check it out fer ya. May have to check on FB for that though, most of them stay over there.
