Layer one!! Sanding in between coats, is a little tip, I use a dremel down the seems and a DA over the previous mat edge so it’s featheredged before next layer.

so did you figure out why that one stringer was not quite level? You mentioned maybe having to shave it down a bit. You are rolling right along man.

Yes I did, the boat wasn’t sitting level on the trailer  crazy.gif, had a buddy come over and we picked it up and leveled it

Sweet! Nothing like a simple solution. Would have sucked to alter the stringer then find that out later.  :smile20: :smile28:

I handy even thought about that, I believe I would have been pretty pissed

It’s taking me about an hour of sanding between coats I hope it’s worth it, I have never done it this way
