Well I can officially say this part of the repair is buttoned up, I bedded it w peanutbutter, edged it w peanutbutter, tabbed it, hid the seam w dynaglass, shaped the corners in then wrapped it twice.

I've never done a project like yours so I'm wondering, if you keep moving forward on it like you plan to,how long before it's ready for the lake ?

Looking great. At this rate I think you mite be good for your deadline. What is the state of the motor? Just a rebuild and drop back in type deal? :smile21:

Motor has been at machine shop since last June, kinda a pay as he builds kind of thing so it was a slow process. But I am all paid for and he should be in the final stages of assembly. He will tune on his run stand I am willing to bet in the next few weeks.

Hahahaha...Kenny, it was in my Crusader rebuild thread back in 2012.......

That was about 7 years too late then, I was way past putting mine together at that point, lol...

On the contrary, I am impressed by how fast you are getting this stuff done & not cutting corners or doing sloppy work.  clap.gif

I think 3 is plenty on the transom,  i also noticed my ski tow mount was completely decayed. So the easy fix was to mix up a good sized batch of peanutbutter, plug the lower hole and pour it in, just re drill the hole for the pole and done.
It’s STRINGER Saturday!  jump.gif
