Not half ass , just doing what I know . Besides , I don't have the big ass o-ring anyway , and I don't want to order one from California .

blob of silicone in place of an o-ring = not half ass.. got it. :cheesy:

I have one I would send ya, but sounds like you have your mind made up about it anyway.

And why order one from California, we were just talkin about Texas vendors the other day?

Ok,  so who has the o-ring around here? I never did see where there were any vendors mentioned that have any pump parts or gaskets.

other than two people that just said they had one? lol!

I dunno man, I would try Mikes Pump & Speed, or possibly Snow at Performance Marine. I know that is two that were mentioned the other day. Or Duane, Duane may have one?

Thats what I would do, but only as a last resort after making sure that the parts places were all out of silicone.

Ok , here are the pics I promised of how I lifted the boat back onto the trailer . I used one strap in the back that went from one of the transom hooks , over the big joist in the ceiling , and back to the other transom hook . In the front I used one strap and went up to the big joist . Ratchet the straps until the boat is in the air , then roll the cart out from under the boat and roll the trailer under the boat . Worked like a champ .

After turning my shop upside down, I located the o-ring. Turns out it was not in my shop, lol, but I now have it in my possession. So Shannon, if you want to shoot me a pm with a mailing address, I will get it goin to ya. I can't guarantee that I will get it out in tomorrow's mail, gotta find something to put it in. It would go out Friday morning at the latest, if you not in a hurry for it & that will work. Just lemme know. :smile17:

Cool,  I will send you an address, let me know what I owe you for it and the shipping.  And if you have any tips on how to get it in without problems that might be helpful.
