Thanks Cliff . The boat is far from perfect , but I am proud of how it is coming together so far . I really can't wait to see what I am able to do with the next one , now that I have made every mistake possible on this one and learned how to fix the mistakes .

I was thinking of running an ad for LS conversions, $10k out the door, take it or leave it. One a month and life would be good. Wake boat guys would pay.

That first one's a bugger. The next one will be much easier.

You could do conversions on the side and still keep doing refrigerators full time . Might be some people willing to pay for it . Not sure you would make much at 10k a boat though .

Then it would be 12k or 15k

Neither of us has that in ours but we scrounged parts where we could . Doing other people's boats might not go so easy with using used parts . People would want all new parts . Consider the cost of a rebuilt motor , computer , EFI , and exhaust system . You would use up the cash pretty quick .

Oh, I was only talking labor. They have to buy whatever motor and harness, carb or EFI. Crate motor or rebuilt AND exhaust. I just take out the old motor and deliver a running conversion with their parts.

Delivered turn key..... with their parts. I'm basically doing motor mounts, PTO, wiring and ECM....

OK, simplified....  They buy THIS.. and put it in and deliver it running for $10k.

OR, I keep doing fridges. I'm thinking I'll be doing fridges for a while still. LOL

I had to take Bonnie to Pettus to see her aunt who is doing pretty bad these days , so no water test for the Kona tomorrow . I will be back to work on it tomorrow and maybe I can get it ready for the weekend .

It took alot of standing back and looking at the problem , but I finally figured out how to get a set of tanks to fit between the seats and the gunnels of the boat . They are not finished yet , but they are well on thier way . I will post some pics to show how the tanks will be shaped around the seats in a little while .
