It run like a heavy boat with a stock marine Ford in it. But the nice thing about this boat is: it starts first time everytime, 60 lbs of oill pressure, all the gauges work, no leaks, and I have not had to paddle the boat to shore or be pulled in.

Went out again this afternoon and boat started, idled, ran all afternoon and got me back to the trailer. Flawless!  I'm so happy. Maybe Mike has dispelled the evil that has been haunting me.  Sunday it's a trip to Bay City to watch the Tim and Henry show.
