Those two classes should have a lot of boats in them. You had mentioned that someone could spray and run two class, are you going to trust them to have the bottle in their boat and not spray if they need a little help on the big end in the class they are not suppose to be using it?  think.gif

Bottles will come out for the racers "on motor" class.

Good deal!  :smile16:  Guess there will be enough time to put our bottles in and get ready for the next class then?

Yes, the format is a little different than what most racers are going to be used to. The class will run untill there is only 1 unbeaten boat left. Saturday winners will go back to the rope, losers will go back to the ramp (done for the day). Sunday The losers will race, winners will go back to the rope, losers are done. The winner of Saturday will race the winner of Sunday. The winner of Saturday will have to loose twice for the Sunday winner to win the class, the winner of Sunday can only loose once. Double eliminations

If I understand this correctly, if you lose on Saturday, which would be half of the boats, then you could possibly / probably lose the first round on Sunday, that would mean you only get two runs for two days.

Jim,

It's double elimination. for example all the winners from round 1 will go back to the rope and race each other for round 2, those winners will race each other for round 3 and so on until only 1 boat is left.

On Sunday the 1st round losers run each other, if they lose it's their 2 nd loss so they're done. Those winners will go on to race the 2nd round losers from Saturday and the losers are done and the winners move on.

So yes if you lose 1st round Saturday and 1st round Sunday and didn't grudge race Saturday evening 2 passes would be all you got.

Hope the finish  line judge has a good eye because there maybe some close races. May even need someone to snap a picture or video at the line.

I figured you had it covered Jeff. I just know some passes between a jet and v drive maybe hard to tell since the v drive will be running the jet down. In some cases.

Its good to have some guys like Loren and Steve who have been to these style of races to lend a helping hand. They think about things like that.
