I don't know about y'all, but I'm glad that CIA and Brazojettin made the unpopular decision and changed the date of our Season Opener. The temperatures didn't get out of the 50's yesterday and is was just a wet and miserable day. Kudo's to those guys.

Hopefully with all the rain we had yesterday, last night and today....Lavons water level will rise a little. I'm expecting it to rise at least 6 inches when the rain storm is all done later on tonight.

Thank you Lord for all this rain....we needed it!

Oh, forgot to add that the weather forecast for Saturday May, 7th.....is looking mighty fine with a high temperature of 85F and winds out of the south at 13mph. Should be a great day!!

Don't forget your sunscreen (and beer)!!

I've got to leave at 2pm to coach a soccer game but will be back by about 4:15pm. I plan on leaving my boat in the water and leaving the trailer at the ramp parking lot while I'm gone. I plan on being there until after dark and then again on Mothers day.

Well fellas, it looks like the weekend is shaping up to be a nice one. Winds will be out of the south at 14mph but that is okay as we'll be on a north facing beach and the wind will be at our backs.

Just got an update on the food menu.

For those that are going to eat the Mudbugs, the plates will come with corn, saugage and potatos. If you're not a crawfish eater, we'll also have Nacho's with cheese and Frito chili pie.

We're also going to raffle off a few door prizes too.

Looking forward to seeing everyone out at Collin park in TWO DAYS!!!!!!

The water level is higher now than it was on Wednesday....by another four inches.

488.34 feet baby! It hasn't been this high since August 11, 2010!!
