No.  I was going to work on it tonight but it started raining about the time I went out there.  I got free bezels with the gauges for the Ambassador but they wouldn't look right on that boat.  Since the Rebel is in my shop out of the rain I put the bezels on it tonight.  The color is a little of fin the pic.  They are actually red just like my throttle cable bracket.  Let me know what you think.

gonna have to say,  love the accent against the white.... give it two thumbs up  :smile16:

thanks Guys.  The bezels actually look a lot better in person than in that pic.  I'll try to get a better pic at the lake tonight.

Ugh.  No pics of the Rebel's gauges tonight.  Squirtcha over at PB said it so I blame him LOL.  After sitting for a month the Rebel rebelled tonight.  No trouble out of the boat but I had a flat on the trailer before I got to the lake.  I didn't have a spare so I limped her back home.  Looks like 4 new tires are in order before Sunday.  :smile13:

I figured you didn't have your boat last night just because it was late or something. You know, if that boat had a Ford motor in it the trailer tire wouldn't have been flat. HAhaha.. We'll see you and Cliff in his new boat on Sunday.

Actually, I think the tires were take offs from a Ford.  I figured that was the reason for the unexpected failure with no warning.  :smile28:

Dang.  Mom just told me "You boys keep rough housin like that and one of ya is gonna get hurt."  Then you went and said that.  :smile25:

It may not be the fastest boat but there is only two things I had to do to that Pontiac all summer long.  (1)Turn the key (2)Mash the gas  :smile30:

Thanks.  I think I may drag it down to Plowmans.  Seems like several of the southern boys want to see it.

I pulled the pickup tubes tonight.  They are plastic so I was able to flex them enough to get them out.  The sock had already been removed.  The lines were clear.  There were no holes in them.  I tested them by blowing through them and then plugging the other end.  If there is a hole it is very small.  I checked for a sticking anti siphon valve.  There is no anti siphon valve so that eliminates that possibility.  I also checked all the lines from the tank to selection valve.  They were all clear.  I still have a couple of things to check but so far no solution.  I'll post more when I test more.

OK,  ignore last post....  does it have a holley on it,  and if so does it have that stone filter in the bowl after the fuel line?????

Q-jet.  The filter in the carb is on my list of things to check.  I doubt it is even in there.  Even if that filter was plugged it would not explain the loss of fuel pressure.  I really thought it was going to be the sock on the pickup.

Next suspect is the water separator.  I spoke with a guy at the lake that had the exact issue I am having.  He chased it for quite some time and the separator ended up being the issue.  I have just a cheap plain inline filter to bypass the separator with.  That and the pump is all that is left.  I am going to take Cookieman up on his offer of that pump as long as it comes with a regulator.  If that does not do it then there is something big in the tank clogging the pickup.

hey Matt- I changed fuel pumps on Overbored tonight and the old one actually is still good as far as I am seeing. If you just want to throw it in yours I will bring it to you.
