So if I'm running a B aluminum impeller will it benefit me performance wise to go with a bronze agresser? And if If I want it to stay at same rpm what size do I get?

I know you will enjoy driving your boat more with a divertor! And my opinion you can launch much better . :smile17:

I know several wingers that air out more mph with the tail a lil high. I'm sure it will help you on both ends.

And hopefully it will get my boat a little more out of the water on the big end and give me a little more mph!

I know out of the hole I put my diverter all the way down and it lifts the A$$ end up as soon as you nail it getting the whole boat on plane much quicker. I don't have power to my diverter now and it's set neutral, I can defintely tell the difference. It takes 40 feet more to get on plane, and that's just on the bottom end. Even bigger gains to be had on the top end. The sweet spot is throwing that roost about 1-2 feet above the water line. The boat just glides when it's there.

I'm turning an aluminum B 5800rpm. I would thing that would be plenty of power to run 80+ in a winger? That's why I think I'm missing something.

You have a ride plate? I haven't even put mine back on yet. There's another 3-4 mph on the big end hiding there.

Here's mine crusing at about 4200 with the diverter neutral and no ride plate.

Yeah I have a ride plate. It seems to be set close to right. I don't want to adjust it up anymore until I get a diverter. It would probably hurt my take off?

I've been told a Berkley B is equal to an Aggressor A. Aluminum impellers will take 550 HP. The problem is if you are traveling at high speed and unload the pump. When you suddenly reload it, an aluminum impeller sometimes can't take the shock of that and comes apart. If that happens you could lose your pump, or worse your motor.

Bottom line, if you can afford it, go bronze or better yet maybe a used stainless.
