I've been told a Berkley B is equal to an Aggressor A. Aluminum impellers will take 550 HP. The problem is if you are traveling at high speed and unload the pump. When you suddenly reload it, an aluminum impeller sometimes can't take the shock of that and comes apart. If that happens you could lose your pump, or worse your motor.

Bottom line, if you can afford it, go bronze or better yet maybe a used stainless.
I think someone told you backwards...A berkley A is more like an agressor B.  :grin:

David didnt come by and get that one I have for you last time he was up here. I couldnt take any money for it, its pretty beat up. But it did push mine into the mid 80's.....

It works right? How much to mail it to Dallas? Are you going to Broken Bow? You could bring it there if you are. I'll throw you a few bones for it if it works.

It works right? How much to mail it to Dallas? Are you going to Broken Bow? You could bring it there if you are. I'll throw you a few bones for it if it works.

So if my motor makes its max HP around 6,000 rpm and I go from a B impeller to an A and my rpm drops to around 5,300 will my mph drop a lot? I want the boat to be quick but still mph decent and I don't have a stroker motor so it don't have big torque.

Just my 2cent but if the motor makes max at 6000 im not sure I would go to a A. if it puts you around 5300 thats 700 rpm you are losing and that is a few mph on the.big end you will lose might want to go with a AB are so
