That old man is also what makes mail-order & online purchasing seem so much more attractive. Which is one of the main things that pisses him off, lol.

I try & just buy here... you know, support local business & all that but damn...  :tongue: :grin:

Yeah, but it just doesn't work. I listened to him on the phone with one of his "customers" who crashed a plane they got for Christmas...he was VERY rude to them on the phone, telling them how they made mistakes and it wasn't the planes fault..could at least tell em to bring it in and look at it before telling them they bought something from someone who just doesn't give a shit..imo

One of my older customers from way back is a member of another flight club out of the wood high area....I may go check them out, maybe they aren't as rude.

I hear ya & know exactly what you mean. It trips me out that his mood can vary so much & that he will go off on people like he does sometimes. Makes me wonder how he even keeps the doors open. :rolleyes:

I hadn't been in that shop for 10 years... and after 2 visits I'm reminded why I quit buying there. Guess he don't remember me telling him I'd rather wipe my ass with my money than have it end up in his cash register, lol... :grin:

I know it's a drive but, the RC Hobby Shop is the best one I've ever been in.  They are always busy too.  Which is a good sign of excellent customer service!  www.rchobbyshop.com
