gonna order some wire to do the electrical as well. got my torque converter for the Cougar too.

Keep in mind that you can bump up the voltage to 6v on most servos to increase torque and speed.  Hitec makes some pretty good servos for less money.  :smile30:

I'm gonna use the tower hobbies digital servos, they are in the recommended range, and $25 for the standard(4) and $40 for the rudder :smile16:

well, I finished the repairs on the plane...took me all day yesterday, but it's all good now. Guy must've kept the plane indoors, and was a smoker...cleaned 6 rags worth of yellow/brown tar off of it. Damn servos don't match, looks like he just tossed em on there for the sale. Recommended servos are $99 each x 5 :smile26:  crazy.gif

Yup, just simple repairs...I was impressed with the way the pop-sickle sticks and ca glue made for great patch!

Anyone care to input on propellers? The afr kit only suggests 6 pitch or less...no other info.
