And you ended up with some spare gauges.

When I put the old one back in, I'll get you my new tach and if you don't mind, let you check it out on your boat to see if it works.

Lol...hey man, as long as I have an 850 CFM MARINE carb on there, I'm sure it'll run better than it has been!! lol...None the less, I think it'll be a Holley  :smile30:

I think a 600 vacuum carb would have worked better than the custom krylon finished carb. haha

Lol....dude...it was painted YELLOW before he painted it silver....fricken crazy man. I hope that after I strip it with paint stripper that I'm able to sell it...... It's an old school Holley 750.

Depends on what kind of shape the factory finish is in. If its no good something will have to go on there or the bare aluminum will get oxidized & look like crap anyway. Ask me how I know. lol..  :cheesy: Paintin 'em don't hurt 'em long as it isn't 1/2" thick or something..

D'man, it's silver now and actually doesn't look to bad to the eye. Its just a few fellas said that no one will buy a painted carb....or if they do, they won't pay much for it. None the less, I plan on draining the gas out of it, wiping it down and putting it on Ebay to see what I can get for it....If I pull any cash buy selling it, that will just offset the price of the new Holley for me.

Ya, probably true. Wasn't sure if you were hangin on to it or gettin rid of it. If you're sellin it, it'll be up to the next guy to take care of it.  :cheesy:

I have an 850 Race Demon that i would almost trade for that Kryloned up Holley...i said almost- :smile13:

Well...the Holley 850 should be sitting on my front porch here in a few hours....

Since I have an enclosed engine compartment, I'd rather use the marine carb. I did put a race Demon 850 on the engine back in August and holy smokes, the motor came alive!!
